Plaintiff sought $33 million for injuries arising from a complex multi-vehicle collision. The matter was tried to a jury over the course of a month.

We tried the case rather than settling into the demand, having made reasonable pre-trial settlement offers that plaintiff rejected.

The jury found for plaintiff but awarded $100,000 in damages, reduced to $10,000 after offsets. Our clients are pursuing costs of approximately $1 million under California's cost-shifting statutes.
